Many of today’s 3D scanning solutions demand hours spent physically acquiring scan data. Whether it’s photogrammetry with your smartphone, or structured light scanning with industrial 3D scanners, there is almost always someone pointing a device at an object, often doing their best crab walk to capture every angle of their subject.
The APS v1 offers immediate time and cost savings by automatically capturing images from all angles in 3D space in the same time it takes to make a coffee.

Safely Scan Heavy Items
Many current 3D scanning solutions rely on turntables. These are inherently limited by the number of potential viewing angles without physically reorienting the object. They are also limited by the weight capacity and can be precarious for your precious physical artefacts.
APS moves the camera around the stationary object for you allowing stress-free scanning of heavy and precious objects.
Superior Accuracy
Because APS gives you precise control of the physical parameters that go into a photogrammetry workflow, it can offer superior accuracy compared to conventional handheld photogrammetry and even some commercial 3D scanners.
This means APS is an ideal solution for most Reverse Engineering projects that do not require micron-level precision.
